Just 3 months from the debut of the Opera bridal collection at New York Bridal Market, the couture bridal line announces a new partnership with famed Madison Avenue boutique, Yuta Powell. Optimism abounds on both sides of the newly formed relationship as Yuta Powell's long-standing and new customers alike are falling head-over-heels for the dramatic bridal silhouettes.

Yuta Powell is located in one of the most coveted shopping areas in New York City. Nestled between a who’s who of famous designer boutiques on Madison Avenue, the possibilities and exposure are nearly endless for the Gilles Montezin Bridal and Yuta Powell partnership. 

“We normally change our window displays weekly, but we received such a huge response to L’Amour—a silk faille bustier with a silk shantung organza skirt adorned with textured hand-pleated flowers from the collection—that we’ve kept it in the window for more than three weeks,” states Yuta Powell, owner of the salon. “The Gilles Montezin ready-to-wear collection has done extremely well at the salon. By providing the bridal line, it gives us another opportunity to simplify our customer’s shopping needs for one of the most important fashion decisions of their lives.”

Gilles Montezin Bridal will be the first bridal design line offered by Yuta Powell.  The Opera collection of 15 dresses pays homage to the art form of the same name, with dramatic flair plus an air of modernity-- all coupled with Montezin’s signature fabric manipulation techniques. Gilles Montezin for Yuta Powell will be headed by Beth Sperling.

Beth has been a mainstay on the bridal scene working for almost two decades with many powerhouses in the industry.  Brides looking to “stun and awe” as they come down the aisle couldn't be in more capable hands.
